Mark Driscoll was Kicked Off Stage for Rebuking Stripper at James River Church's "Strong Men" Conference. Pastor Mark Driscoll was kicked off stage after he criticized Alex Magala's performance during the opening of the Stronger Men's Conference, held this year at the Great Southern Bank Arena in Springfield, Missouri, on April 12 and 13.
According to its social media pages, the conference, organized by the James River Church in Missouri, is about "helping men to become all that God has created them to be."
During his performance at the conference, Magala took off his shirt, climbed a pole on stage and swallowed a sword.
Driscoll later criticized the act, likening it to something one might see in a strip club.
As we celebrate the birth of our Savior, I want to take a moment to reflect on how blessed I am to have this incredible community. Your prayers, support, and fellowship have been a true gift this past year, and I’m deeply grateful for each of you.
Looking ahead to 2025, I feel God stirring big plans in my heart for this community. I’m excited to share more in the coming months, and I’m trusting in His guidance to make this next year one of growth, encouragement, and deeper faith for all of us.
This Christmas, let’s fix our eyes on the greatest gift of all: Jesus Christ, who came to bring light and hope to a weary world. May this season renew your hearts with His peace and joy, and may His love fill your homes and families.
